He looked like a QB who went 6-11 for 49 yards against Idaho. IOW, not very good.
I watched this game simply to see how lark did. The pocket collapsed often, which isn't necessarily fair for him as a judge. It was clear to me, though, why we kept playing Riley.

I thought Lark looked good especially since we were in a run on first and second down and throw on third game plan at that point. He made some really nice throws and seems much more accurate than Nelson. He was also much more mobile than I thought making a few good throws downfield while on the run.
I think he could have been a good qb for us, especially under Anae. We will never know since Doman decided to go with the running qb offense.
Lark is obviously able to quickly and accurately deliver mid-range and short throws from a 3 step drop and while rolling out. That alone makes him a better QB than Nelson.
I was really impressed with Broncos post game interview. Was really sincere expressing sadness over the players suspended. Said he is going to do all he can to help these guys.
No I definitely think Lark did not(and could not) prove he was a stud based off this game. But that didn't stop a bunch of posters from burying him and saying its clear why he is the backup based off one drive.
Good call, HeapSaru. People shouldn't derive any conclusions whatsoever from a scrimmage against Byedaho. One way or the other.

It looked friggin' cold. If it wasn't so cold I would have travelled down to Provo...for the women's soccer game!

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

My take-away is that maybe I've been blaming Riley too much for what is really a a damn bad O-line.
I think, perhaps, the only person who hates BYU fans more than ute fans hate BYU fans, is Bronco Mendenhall.

I'm glad we went if for nothing else to say we recognized the graduating senior class. It was stupid that it was before the game but in retrospect I think they assumed the majority wouldn't stick around until the end anyway.
