Lol. We just gave a home and home to Middle Tennessee. I love independence.

My biggest issue with this is that it sets a bad precedent.

If we can't get a Sunbelt to come for a 1 and done, who are we going to get besides the Weber's and Southern Utah's of the world to offset all the neutral and one and done's that we've taken as games?

The schedule next year is fun, but it's largely due to a 2 for 1 coming to LES (Texas), Utah (series discontinued), GaTech (series shortened), and Boise (ongoing series). We have road games at Wisconsin (1 and done), ND (uneven series, likely in jeoprady), Aggie (will likely tell us to pound sand if we demand more uneven series), Hawaii (ongoing series), Houston (BE 1/1), and WSU (PAC 1/1).

I just don't see how this will be viable long term. Everyone is joining a conference. Even Notre Dame is basically a half member of the ACC at this point. Navy's joining the BE. Army might be doing the same.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I gave a presentation at a conference there in March. The place is a total dump.

A 2:1 is going to be more expensive because the school will likely demand a higher payout. ULM is getting about 800k for these one off games against these SEC teams. How much did we pay Utah state? This H/H is really cheap. what's the problem? talk about overreacting. Sheesh.

that being said, it would be nice to have 7 home games instead of 6.

BYU should just play 3 or 4 home games a year so they have more chances to do firesides in the mission field.

We need some uneven agreements to counter the neutral site and one and done games we've chosen to schedule.

Is the Wisconsin series a one and done or a H-H? I've heard both.

They are working on making it more than a 2 game series.

Baylor did a home and home with University of Louisiana-Monroe. I don't think it's a big deal -- we need to play a few teams we can beat.
