Given that all of the damage inflicted on the Aztecs last night was by non-RMs, and that the OL where RMs were most plentiful was perhaps the weakest element of last night's performance, the age argument is pretty strange. In addition to the stars (KVN, Hoff, Ziggy, etc.), I think Jamaal is quite young, perhaps even a freshman, but that never gets mentioned by the announcers.

Haddow sighting on the first one.

I was looking forward to SDSU whining after the replay I'm glad they didn't disappoint.

The delusion is so profound. Aztec fans truly believe that Chad Bunn was solely responsible for the call and that he had BYU's backing and support to not overturn that call. It's amazing, actually

Reading stories from San Diego paper about last night's game in SD airport; Now DiLuigi's non-overturned fumble went for a touchdown in 2010
    Jay Drew ‏@drewjay

And there were now two BYU alums in Replay Booth in 2010; Chad Bunn is a proud USU alum, actually.
Lord only knows what the Aztec sports online forums are saying.

Like FM said, it was accurate, but dumb.

Halftime interviews are stupid. Halftime interviews have a wonderful habit of bringing out the best responses out of coaches of all descriptions.

There are lots of accurate things that shouldn't be said. If he had said "our offense sucks and we can't do anything about that so our best hope is to punt well to win the field position game" that would be even more accurate. But that would be even more stupid.

Who knows, maybe that's what he said and the sideline reporter bailed him out.

It was a very accurate statement given the situation in the game / this team. Which makes me want to cry.

The simple answer was "EVERYTHING". But he knew damn well they weren't going to do much of anything better, so the more reasonable response was to have your #2 ranked punter start to punt like a #2 ranked punter and then unleash your #3 defense on SDSU while they are bottled up deep in their own territory.

In reality, the punting game was huge in the second half and may have saved the game for us. Steelblue's son kind of laughed when he said that Stephenson should be the offensive MVP. I kind of agree.
