I've embarrassed myself enough times with my displays of emotion that I'll actually feel relieved if there is some indication that it's genetic.

I can't imagine how hard this will be on future JD and his children!

Lots of us do dumb things in our youth. Most of those things are not recorded on YouTube. Maybe J.D. will be fine with what he's got recorded.

Someone should hack into the new video screen at LES and put that gif on loop for the rivalry game next year.

I always laugh when people act indignant about naughty words.

            Big deal. It's football.

Who's indignant? You're right, players and coaches all talk that way in all sports. My comment was inspired by Hans Olson, who spent some time on his show Monday talking about the J.D. YouTube F-bomb. Hans basically said he himself uttered a few of those himself when he was playing at BYU, but he was glad it was in the pre-YouTube/smartphone era and that none of them were recorded for all the world to see, forever. He opined that players need to learn after a loss on an opposing field to just look straight ahead, keep their helmets on, and get off the field and into the locker room ASAP. He was very sympathetic to J.D. and felt bad for him. Also noted that for most players this would not be anything even worth noticing, but that J.D. plays for BYU, was wearing the BYU uniform, etc., etc.

If JD's kids have any of the fire that JD displays, a youtube video of their dad dropping the f-bomb like that will do nothing but improve his "street cred" with his kids.
