The ULM win was cool to see. Neighbor kid in TX who was 13 when we moved is a Warhawk. I used to try to get him excited about BYU but it never really took.

Note: before you say who cares if he is at ULM, he's an OL. I'd take theirs over ours it seems.

Ha, Taylor Martinez has a great first half against UCLA, and almost finished it with an awful INT, but he was down before throwing it. That takes them out of FG range with 3 seconds left.

And Brett Maher (Nebraska kicker) kicks a 54 yard FG not once but twice after Mora calls a time out just prior to the snap...

Have to dwell on the positive....

UCLA is a young team and Mora appears to have recruited well. I think Mora will bring UCLA back. But what does that mean? UCLA has never been as accomplished as USC. I think the Bruins will force the Trojans to play well to beat them - meaning an upset is possible. They don't play USC and Stanford until late in the year so time is on the Bruins side...time will tell. I'm familar with "Ricky" coached teams at Colorado, Washington, and UCLA and this version of Mora's Bruins strikes me as different. On the other hand, UCLA beat a very flawed Nebraska team. But it takes good coaching to expose those flaws. Props to Mora and UCLA.
