They should have put Jackwhizz Rodgers on the cover of SI, said something like the 3 SC LBs can't tackle this guy.

I was hoping Mays would declare and San Fran could land him. As is, I'm glad he didn't as now the 9ers have a chance next year to snag him AND landed Crabtree this year.

I can only hope that they can land him with Carolina's #1 which ends up being a top-5 pick, and that theirs is a late, late first rounder.

        11 guys from SC drafted.

        1 player from BYU drafted.

I wonder if this dents the argument that that the scouts will still find you if you go to BYU over SC.

You're making this point in the same thread where you tout SC's recruiting?

          Hmm....
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Abilene Christian has had 2 players drafted. If you are good they will find you.

Of course the University of Washington has had 0 drafted so far, again though I say if you are good the NFL will find you.

I saw that Fui went to the Bengals. Good for him. He is a good kid.

Also, guess who is on the cover of SI?

Tomorrow should be a fun spring game.

They don't look like "fine young men." Isn't this a big image problem for USC?

Living in the LA area, you should know better than most here that currently, USC is suffering from a major image crisis. People barely attend the games and the media won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Recruits are staying away in droves and the team is hemorrhaging money. It is dire.

If the program would just get its priorities straight, I'm sure those problems would resolve themselves. I think Pete Carroll would be a dynamite fireside attraction.

                        Pete also cares about kids.

Conversely, Bronco and Whit don't seem to do a single thing for the children. So much for family values.

It's only because of news media bias that more people don't know about the great things Whit and Bronco are doing.
