  • Holmoe to Stanford as A.D.

A few on CB have speculated on this. Any of you "in" folks heard anything about this?

The stress would be lower. However I think Holmoe likes being in control < nervous face
( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

I would think if he truly likes being in control, if he had the chance then he would head for Stanford.

The BYU AD has very little control.

I've heard nothing, but I'll see him Saturday and ask. I'm preparing a list of interrogatories I intend to present concerning the pending invitations from the Big 12, Big East, etc., and other matters. I'm open to suggestions.

I'd be fine with this. I could have someone new to get mad at when the brethren make decisions on BYU I don't like.

Tell him he'll have a 2500 dollar check on his desk the morning after the B12 announcement. The Big East announcement is worth nothing. He'd better be writing me a check if he says we're going back to the MWC.

In all seriousness, I would leave BYU to go do that. You would have a lot less red tape at that job.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

How about, "come clean Tom. My pal BYU71 is on his death bed. The only question in life he has left is, was there a way into the BIG 12 and we didn't take it".

I wonder what member of the Seventy they'll call to replace him?

Don't we have a thread for this kind of egregious name dropping?

If Holmoe is offered that job, he would be crazy to turn it down.

Since you will obviusly be having an open dialogue and getting honest answers. How does Tom really feel about his family name?

A means to an end: BYU to the PAC-12.
