              WTF? I lost by 0.17 points? I swear, that PAC family cheats somehow.

              IIRC, this is the second or third time I have finished second in one of these things. Always a bridesmaid, and never a bride.

                  Also, I would like to point out that i finished in 15th position despite having failed to submit a prediction for one contest. Thus, only 14 of you were able to best me here, even with one game tied behind my back. Ha.

                    I am truly humbled by this year's victory. I have spent the past week fearful of what these results would show because I knew that JL put up a valiant fight, along with many others this season.

                    First, I commend pelagius for running this contest week in and (sometimes delayed) week out. Second, I want to thank those of you who posted a prediction for at least 8 of the games. Many of you gave me a scare, some of you not so much. But I do respect you all those of you who made legitimate predictions.

                    As to the smaller margin of victory, some that is due to the tough competition and the unpredictable Cougars of 2011 and I think some of it is due to actually reading and understanding the scoring system this time around.

                    Now, I will go and enjoy my victory milk and fresh chocolate chip cookies made from the special Mrs. PAC family recipe and I trust that my Ute Contest winning counterpart, PAC, will do the same.

                    Here's to victory!

                        You know what would be fascinating? Some sort of aggregate score that takes in account overall predictions from both the Utah AND BYU prediction contests. Maybe even throw in Bluegoose's CUF pick'em contest results. Doesn't that sound fun?
