Oh - ridicule is always in season. Particularly when all of the local radio hosts and callers are talking about Utah scoring 30+ and winning by multiple TD's, telling listeners that USU has a much better chance of winning in Provo against BYU than in Logan against Utah, and your starting RB's only complaint about the loss is that USU isn't even in the PAC12...boo hoo.

    Thought so.
Just to be clear - I have no knowledge of this game ever taking place, but if USU were to play BYU fans, I would expect USU to win. It wouldn't surprise me at all. On the other hand, it would surprise me to learn that BYU fans beat USU last year - and I would not blame BYU faithful for rushing the field if their fans were to defeat USU.

These are probably the same fans naming children after active players so often that the NCAA created a rule to stop the horrid and confusing practice.
      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Those people deserve it. I'll bet most of them are younger fans. Anyway, it was very foolish for any Ute fan or player to look beyond Utah State. (That reads like I am about to utter a "harrumph," but I mean it.)

I felt Utah would win the game, but not to that extent.
You and me both, brother. Still, I've got to hand it to the Aggies. They came to play and they are good. I'm genuinely glad to see their program doing well.

I advise against listening to callers to sports radio shows. As for hosts saying such things: Who was stupid enough to do that? The Zone guys? I don't listen to any of the Utah sports talk radio folks except Riley and Hans. I hope they didn't say that.

Didn't see this posted or really announced anywhere. Utah @ ASU game on Sept. 22 will be a PAC-12 Network game, at 8 PM MST.

Have the Ute fans not yet learned that Wilner will do everything he can to minimize accomplishments by teams from the Pac not named USC?

I guess Utah hasn't been good since being involved in the conference, so they probably don't know that.

Really? I know MBN likes him. I just watched him for info on the PAC-12 Network because he seemed pretty dialed in to that subject.

Maybe not here. The Utefans masses have been singing his praises since the conference realignment. I guess the honeymoon is over.

Since I am an old codger I can say this with some credibility: the younger the fan, the more upset the fan gets about news media criticism of the fan's favorite team. Generally. Also, lots of Ute fans need to put on their big boy pants and get used to it. The L.A. and Bay Area sports media don't pull punches.

If you win all three of the toss up games left on your schedule you will be a 5 win team. I think 4 wins is a realistic possibility at this point. I think 6 wins is going to be a challenge. Things can change and we will see how it plays out.

It makes me feel a little better to see Mizzou at 0-4 in a new conference and WVU getting crushed.

Still, we have a deficit in athleticism compared to most teams in this conference.
