I'll step up and support. The fact is, though, no one on here is going to change their opinion of Ohio State and Urban Meyer. Fighting the haters is pretty much futile. Urban could save Cosmo Cougar, Lavell Edwards and Jimmer from a burning building, but the only thing most people around here will remember is that he put some BYU stickers in the urinals at Utah.

Now Ohio State fans are claiming that Lavell, Cosmo and Jimmer need to be saved by Urban Meyer. No wonder everyone hates you guys.

So where did I say only byu fans hate Meyer. I realize you are not alone in this hatred, but the primary reason is winning games at utah. Sane reason byu fans have such deep hatred of Majerus.

This thread wouldn't get nearly as much traction and Meyer would be criticized nearly as much if he didn't win games at Utah.

My point is essentially, no matter how good of bad Meyer has been, it wouldn't matter to byu fans because he committed the ultimate unforgiveable sin in this world, winning games at the University of Utah. It is the same reason why Rick Majerus is considered the second worse human being to Urban Meyer.

hold on now. your characterization of Maj Hate is off base. BYU fans mocked him because rotund bald Sasquatches with 1 inch vert and that defecate in towels are easy targets for mockery. But there has always been a respect for his winning ways. For goodness sake, Goatnapper'96 once pathetically admitted to owning a University of Utah hat because he loved Maj so much.

MAFU really started tipping the football scales in Utah's favor, and yet BYU fans dont hate him.

People hate Urb because he is Urb. That he stopped off at Utah for two years may serve as reinforcement for that which everyone already knows, but it isn't the primary reason.
