It has a better economy, better BBQ, and no Ohio State. So pretty well all around.

Well.. At least it has those things going because their football team sucks..

Although, I do think there is a rather large Ohio St. Fan population there.

I've yet to find more than one Buckeye fan in my 30+ years in Texas. The best represented B1G team in Texas is the team the Buckeyes soundly defeated last Saturday.

So to be clear: when you say "we" on a BYU message board in relation to a top-25 list, at a time when BYU has its highest ranking in years, you want to make it very clear that you are not referring to BYU. Interesting.

Two questions:

1) Do you post on Ohio State boards?

2) If BYU were to play Ohio State, which team would you cheer for?

A purity test??? Was not this board originally Cougar-Ute Forum? Not strictly a BYU message board back then. But I do agree that the "we" reference was misplaced even though it was made in a thread dedicated to Ohio St. football. I enjoy reading the views of fans of other teams for perspective.

No, that is one of the best parts of Texas. A diversity of people from other places including Utah. In my time here, my city has grown 4X and church membership has grown 5X with the bulk of LDS coming from Utah.
