Her name was Bubbles? This onion has so many layers. Maybe the good doctor should reevaluate his reevaluation.Originally posted by Flattop View PostCrazy Lady actually got permission from Bubbles."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

I'm no longer really concerned about who you stole it from. I'm willing to agree that it was stolen from Janet. I'm more concerned whether or not Webster's defines it as a tradition.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostSTFU. Where in the NEZ were you? I'm in N25 Row 13.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostSo this sad lady stole this from the original Old lady and Ute fans are supposed to give a shit? I'm just glad I didn't have to see it on Friday. The NEZ was far too entertaining for me to pay attention to anything happening near the band. I'll add some pics to the threads thread later."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

N26 row 42. They were the only tickets available with 11 together. We acted as the wind buffer for everyone below us. You're welcome.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostWhere in the NEZ were you? Bubbles was the original. Story is that sometime in the early 80s, she spontaneously started to dance when the band played the theme from Blues Brothers at the end of the 3rd quarter and the tradition was born.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostHer name was Bubbles? I did not dress for the ocassion unfortunately. Exactly! Rummaging around in slogan garbage cans is not stealing. I wonder if Hebrew National is still using "We answer to a higher authority"...Originally posted by falafel View PostIts not stealing. Baylor wasn't using the slogan anymore. I just love that a year earlier Bronco felt like the program was beyond slogans. Wouldn't have had anything to do with the Quest for Perfection debacle, would it Bronco?Originally posted by Flystripper View PostExactly! Rummaging around in slogan garbage cans is not stealing. (Utah completing that quest was just icing on that shit cake)

Is this how you start your sacrament meeting talks?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThat is a slogan not a tradition.
Websters defines slogan as: 1.A short and striking or memorable phrase used in advertising.
Websters defines tradition as: 1.The transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.
2.A long-established custom or belief that has been passed on in this way.
Big difference.

I'll vouch for this. Also I think they should still use it. Great high energy beat and a killer guitar riff.
