Honestly, if you want to drive Ute fans nuts, be SUPER nice to them. Also, use the word "super."

They eat that stuff up because they already think Zoobs are a bunch of sticky-sweet, self-righteous prigs.

So you can have a little rivalry fun and not be an offensive a-hole in the process.

Could you imagine how annoying it would be if everyone welcomed them and kept offering them a slice of pie or something to drink during the game? Every few minutes people come up to them and ask to shake their hand so they can't watch the game in peace, etc.

You'd get a better reaction from zoobs if Ute fans did as you suggested, as it would demolish their perception of what zoobs think Ute fans are.

it is reality.

if there were no auto-bids, Utah would not be playing in a BCS bowl, they would be playing in Vegas.

Why do you think an autobid rule was written in? It forces the bowls to do that which they otherwise would not want to do.
