  • Where did Beck go?

I haven't been following closely. I know Grossman started the season, stunk it up, and Beck replaced him. But Grossman's back now. What happened? Did he get hurt? Suck worse than Grossman? What's the story?

Beck got benched because Shannahan said he felt that Sexy Rexy gave them the best chance to win despite Rex having the worst passer rating in the NFC at the time.

They've both been just awful, but it seems like Rexy at least makes it look like they are trying to win even though It is clear they've given up.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I like Beck. I hope he lands somewhere this year or next. He has definitely made the rounds in the NFL, he throws a nice ball, just doesn't seem like he's found an ideal situation.

I'd love to be wrong, but I'd say Max Hall has some competition for grad student QB coach.

He participated in one of those transitional programs for players wanting to go into broadcasting before he signed with Houston. Too bad the MTN is out of business.

he's got no chin, he doesn't have the looks for TV, radio maybe, but then his voice isn't exactly golden either.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

With all the huntin' and fishin' going on in Beck's life, sounds like he's a top candidate for Ty Detmer's offensive coordinator at that Texas HS.
