HA! How many teams in college football are going to figure out that they need good kickers? Why do all these teams ignore that or find a better solution? I'm glad the Utes have had Louie Sakota and Coleman Peterson looks like a really solid kicker too.
The Boise State bandwagoner in me is smiling hard, with OU and Oregon losing, they have a shot at an at-large bid.

The Boise State bandwagoner in me is smiling hard, with OU and Oregon losing, they have a shot at an at-large bid (by being higher in BCS ranking). The loser of the Bedlam game isn't going to a BCS game I don't think.
Alabama lost because of their shitty kicker. Boise was knocked out two years in a row because of a shitty kicker. I don't get why teams can't find a really good one.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Boise State's in the National Championship Game with a kicker that could make that. Pathetic. Boise State somehow still has a shot at an at-large bid with all these teams losing. Let's go Baylor!
Yeah, blame the kicker when the coach mismanages the last 1:30 and leaves it in the hands of the kicker.
And when SC blocked a punt due to poor blocking by Oregon, when Oregon receivers dropped passes all game long, when the QB can't hit a wide open freshman in the end zone so he can stay in bounds, and when Oregon's Heisman candidate RB fumbled in the red zone.

Definitely the kicker's fault they lost.
LaMichael's probably still a top 3 RB in the PAC-12, but I don't understand why he's ever been in the Heisman Race. DeAnthony Thomas and Barner are just as important. Starting to think LMJ is a bit overrated.

There is no question he's overrated. Put any back with explosive speed in that offense and he's going to run wild. Granted, those guys don't grow on trees, but Oregon has three of them right now.
Crazy that the top 3 in the BCS rankings could be all in the SEC West if Oklahoma loses.
Also crazy that Boise State still has a chance of being in a BCS game with the way things are playing out (Clemson, Oregon, Oklahoma State, and maybe even OU losing).
