BYU vs. Idaho: Does this even warrant a game thread?

I'm strongly considering pulling a great prank tonight at the game. Here's the idea: take a newspaper to the game. Whenever idaho is on offense or doing something important, open up the newspaper and pretend to be reading it. It gives the impression that you don't care..you aren't even looking at what is happening on the field! Idaho will make mistakes because they will be annoyed at everyone reading the newspaper.

Idaho could be in the MWC if they had decent facilities, but they will be back to the Big Sky in a couple years.

I could see BYU playing down to Idaho and let them stay in the game like SJSU, Idaho took Virginia to overtime who is 6-3 so who knows.

I'm glad someone started a thread. I was looking for one on Thursday, but I figured I was just not seeing it.

I'm excited for the game. It's not a big-time opponent, but I always enjoy watching the Cougars play. There are 12 days a year, give or take, that I get to do that. Today is one of those days.

I'll enjoy Iceman scrambling to make a play, Van Noy chasing a guy down from the back side, and Hoffman trying to take a return to the house. If they lose, it won't ruin my evening. I hope they play their best.

1. A QB coach is actually hired.

I hit the Snow College game in Ephraim this afternoon. Game took almost four hours. After the drive back I decided I didn't want to freeze for another few hours so I'm sitting this one out and watching in the comfort of my dwelling.

I was at SC to watch Ryan Mulitalo who redshirted a year at BYU and had a issue. He ended up working at the same company as me and specifically worked under my brother. Bro has been mentoring him and talked him into getting back into football. If he keeps his grades up there's a good chance he will end up back at BYU. Ryan played very well and is quite fast for a dude that's listed at 340lbs. In fact he's playing guard instead of tackle. Dude has the biggest calfs I've ever seen.
