UCF lost to a BYU team led by Jake Heaps - if you need a loss to UAB to come to the conclusion that they suck, you have a lot to learn about football.

I like it when our mutial fanbases are able to see the dingy gray lining its rival.

Will the Weasel make it through the season? Or will they fire him in November?

There is zero reason for fucla to be this bad for so long.

The sad thing is both of these teams will put up a fight against Utah. In fact I will say Utah at best splits those two games.

Agreed. I don't know why he made it to this season, but if he doesn't get fired after this debacle, he probably finishes the season, IMO.

I think the thought, however misguided, stems from the big win in Austin last year. That the team was ready to turn a corner. Also, that Prince would finally come into his own this season. It all sounds vaguely familiar to me unfortunately.

Prince stinks and they are not much better at backup with Brehaut.

I know the weasel was a big name coach but he was out of the game for awhile. Before that they hired a receivers coach in Karl Dorrell and before that a guy with no head coaching experience in Bob Toledo who rode Terry Donahues players to two 10 win seasons in his first 3 years. Since that Rose Bowl berth in 1998 (Thank you Cade McNown!) they have had 1 double digit win season and have not won more than 7 games in any season.

You may be right. And yes, Prince is awful.

Watching this game and others, it is evident that prince is only part of the problem. They have lousy defense, lousy linebackers, their receivers can't hold onto the ball when it hits them in the hands and the most mind boggling thing is that they generally recruit well out of traditional LA pipes like Dorsey, Crenshaw, etc. they get good kids on LOI day but don't coach them up. Their 2009 HS class was insane. They signed over 20 kids (including X) and finished in the Top 5 classes overall that day, better than SC. So much for that.

Foles and Criner are ballers, but they were 115th in the nation running the ball coming into tonight. And I know they've played a difficult schedule, but they're doing nothing right on defense. They gave up 408 yards of offense to Oregon St and 582 yards to your Trojans.

Sad? yes, we know, any game in a BCS conference isn't a gimme. Just look at UCLA's recruits compared to Utah's (or BYU's) the past five years. Don't you wish BYU had that problem?
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Arizona is still a somewhat decent team, Foles is good, and a winner when he wants to be. I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose to them in Tucson, hell I bet they do beat us at their place. I'm pretty confident against UCLA at home, but it is a conference where no games are gimme's unlike MWC.

Agree. If Foles gets the kind of time that Ostenhauser got when ASU beat us , Arizona could certainly win that game. At 3-3, I'm not taking anything for granted that's for sure.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
