I haven't watched a lick of SDSU football this year now that we're not longer in that same cesspool of a conference, but I wonder if this year they beat TCU. In Qualcomm (or whatever the hell it's called now), TCU reeling, and SDSU being a program that is better than it used to be.

LSU/Florida isn't as sexy as it was before Florida got destroyed by the Alabama Crimson Richardsons. I don't see how Florida wins in Death Valley. LSU and Alabama are pretty much the same team, except LSU platoons at running back with a bunch of backs not quite as awesome as Richardson and has a freak of nature at cornerback (the buddy of mine I watch all the LSU games with and I take bets on what new and exciting way Matheiu will create a turnover this week).

Forecast for rain this weekend in Texas, not that I think it will affect the OU-Texas game. OU will march back to Norman to a chorus of the lamentations of Texas women.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I was thinking the other day how strange it is that I know nothing of how Wyo, UNLV, SDSU, etc are doing. Just being disassociated from that mess was a complete eye opener on just how little our previous conference mattered on the national scene and what the TV contract then expansion has done to completely drive that conference into irrelevancy.

        Boo.

Wait, after reading this again, I'm pretty sure you're saying that Babs will be sad after the game.

          Re-read it.

          Also, look up "lamentations."

Which chapter and verse? I don't have time to read the whole thing.

Or does Babs not live in Texas anymore?

She still does. Unfortunately, she is not plural.

Actually, a watching of Conan the Barbarian would suffice.

My mistake. I was thrown off by the 's' at the end of their her name.

In that case, I revert to "Boo".

Texas is going to kill OU. Kill them.

This week Wyoming heads to Logan to play the Aggies. I think it would be a fun game to watch, but unfortunately neither team has the worldwide leader in sports broadcasting as their partner. I'm kind of torn on who I'd like to see win. On one hand, Chuckie and Turbin are fun guys to watch and it would be nice to see this team finally put 4 quarters together. But I also chose Wyo as my new second favorite school. Tough decision.

ESPN 3 carries a lot of games not otherwise televised outside of the local market, if you get that. Available on Xbox as the ESPN app thingy or online at ESPN3.com. That's how I saw the USU-CSU game.

Texas opened at double digit dogs to OU, IIRC. LSU is a 10 point favorite. Surprisingly, the spread on BSU-Fresno is single digit.

Plus Wyo will be rocking these away unis with the brown helmets. I like 'em. Makes the decision even tougher.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
