BYU fan cannot admit to itself that Utah has been the overall superior program over the past decade. NCAA Championship game, 2 BCS bowl victories, 2 undefeated football seasons, 2 #1 draft picks (NBA and NFL....granted, both were busts, but that is beside the point and should not be held against the U. once you go to the pros, the college should not be penalized).

Utah fan is so mired in almost 3 decades of extreme Little Brother Syndrome that he cannot properly accept the role and act accordingly, hence this continued unhealthy obsession with Bronco, Mormonism, the Church, and BYU fan's smug attitude. It is almost as though Utah fan thinks to himself, "Holy crap? Is this really happening? I can't believe it! We are a good program!"

SU is a good example of Utah Fan psychosis. Not-so-deep-down, he cannot really believe that the Utes have been so successful this past decade.
You don't know by now that I have my own issues completely unrelated to the athletic programs? You need to become a better student of my posts.

Given my priorities for universities, in any event little brother syndrome such as you describe would be letting the tail wag the dog, wouldn't it.

Everyone, no, actually I don't comb the Internet every day looking for the latest self promoting lie uttered by Bronco. Here obviously all I was doing is visiting CG. In fact, I've only read Arch's excerpt. What I thought was interesting is that I wrote my first post over there before reading any of the rest of the thread and BYU fans echoed my views of him.

Still, I like the fact that you and other Utes spend far more time parsing the words of Bronco than I do.
I have a very high tolerance for Kathy Ireland. Man, I had something for her when I was in college.

In what sense are you using the word "parsing?"

SU, we just can't win with you. You regularly preach that the biggest selling point of the LDS church is it's anti-enlightenment traditionalism. Then you get pissed when Bronco claims to be a traditionalist. Blood confused!

I included in Utah fan's psychosis the unhealthy obsession with the Church and Mormonism, which are really the roots of your beef with BYU. So you still fall into the LBS category.

The fact that you have "issues" with any D1 school is symptomatic of a bigger psychological problem.

No, I think that the root of my apostasy is that from childhood I was a Ute fan. You got it backwards.

LAUte, 8BR, IPU, UteStar and the rest, take note. The distance between you and SU is one of degree and not kind.

Well, I'm not a lawyer, so in my case, at the very least it's two degrees.

Am I allowed to be a Ute fan and not care about Bronco's personality/quotes? I just wish he'd stop winning football games.
