Robinson had 11 completions the whole game. He also had over 330 yards passing. 30 yards per completion is pretty much the exact opposite from what we are seeing out of BYU's Alex Smith with the Niners offense.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Does anybody have woot's cell number? He's at the Big House, IIRC. Somebody needs to text him and tell him not to ruin his night.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

So is the Big 10 the most overrated conference in football right now? Sure looks like it.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

Is Colorado underrated this year? They had a bad loss to Hawaii on the islands, and a tough OT loss to Cal.
But against Cal's D which was predicted to be one of the better D's in the Pac 12 they had 600 total yards, and their QB's stat line was 28/49 for 474 yards and 3 tds no picks.
That big "rivalry" game with Utah v Colorado might not be the cakewalk most predict.

So that was about as good as it gets. The 114,804 was the most to ever see a college football game, and we were loud.
The football was pretty sloppy, and Michigan has a lot of work to do, but I love the coaching. The starting RB was hurt and didn't play, and there's still a couple of key LBs that haven't yet played this year, but even so it's clear that Michigan is lacking talent. The 2012 class is outstanding, and the 2013 class got its second commit tonight with a 4/5-star guy to go with the 5-star #1 QB already committed. If Michigan can win enough to keep up the recruiting success, these coaches will have Michigan back to national prominence.
Denard ended up with 446 of the 452 yards tonight. That's really surprising to see this year, and not in a good way. Our RBs were getting stuffed.
I'm in here somewhere:

Oh and I got into the 4th quarter before the PA guy ruined the BYU score for me. Grr. Plugging my ears and singing the Victors didn't block it out. I watched the game on DVR anyway. What a great start. BYU will be really good next year.Last edited by woot; 09-11-2011, 12:44 AM.
