Anyway I try not to shout at clouds so much but we need to take control back from the 12 year old who is currently in charge of football uniforms. The variety is fun and I'm fine with changing it up but an alternate uni doesn't mean anything if there is no base home/away. How about we compromise and give the 12 year old free reign for 6 games and do traditional home/away royals with white helmets for the other 6 games?
I'm so with you. The royal jersey with white pants looked so f-wording good. The white jersey with royal pants were equally glorious. The monochromatic look, especially in white, is dumb and not intimidating. It's what you wear to baptisms.

Young people like a lot of stupid things. My compromise of 6 games of nonsense uniforms 6 games of tradition is imminently reasonable and would provide plenty of weeks for the players. It might even make the alt unis a bit more special if it wasn't every week.

      • Also I'll add what player is begging for an all white 1996 throwback uniform? I'm betting zero.

        • One of the benefits of being a Texas football fan (second to BYU of course) is that they NEVER do alternate uniforms.

              • Putting aside my distaste for Mr. Pushoff and having a basketball guy on a football uniform, this seems like it could be a good thing. The youngsters seem to like Jumpman stuff.
