All you've got to do is look at Nike U (Oregon) and UA U (Maryland) to see who comes up with the best stuff. UA makes nice compression shorts but they still have a long ways to catch up to Nike.Comment

Are we talking designs or actual quality of the materials that go into their products? I think most of us agree that UA's designs are weird. I was talking about designs. Nike did produce a lot of garbage but I think they found out it hurt them and they are doing better. Their cycling stuff was terrible and every pair of Nike jammers I've bought for swimming hasn't lasted long but their Dri-fit shorts and shirts are excellent. Went to UCLA for grad school. This makes me sad. I was happy that the adidas deal was expiring -- their UCLA gear was CRAP. I had heard from someone inside Nike that it looked like UCLA was going to sign with Nike, maybe even be a Jordan school. I honestly have 6-7 Russell tech short sleeve shirts. They fit well, and they're $9 at Wal Mart, so I don't feel bad wearing them doing yardwork or service. Also, the Russell BYU dri-fit T I own is loads better than the garbage dri fit shirts they made for the blackout a couple years back.
