Stevens at Oregon. Oregon also had a kid from Southern Idaho as well that I think went on a mission. Just graduated last year. Mapu at Tennessee that someone already mentioned. Junkie probably knows better than I do.

I figured there had to be some from OR given the number of LDS kids that have played there. I would guess that most programs in the west have probably had a kid serve a mission and return.

Yes he did. Except he signed with BYU out of high school and transferred to ASU when he got home.

Walker Vave, and both Unga brothers at Oregon St. (Although Uani has since transferred to BYU but it was not immediately following his mission).Also Mau Nomani who was a big time recruit came home last year.

Drew Reilly is a corner out of SoCal that committed to Colorado St before his mission and just returned to CSU. His little brother just signed with CSU as well and is leaving on a mission in October. (THese are the younger brothers of Trevor Reilly who is up at Utah)

Still not sold on the premise here. When I signed up to go to BYU I pretty much resigned myself to NOT getting laid, and put that in the furthest corner of my mind. Getting married is a steep price, and one that could be paid at any institution of higher learning, whereas if getting laid the old fashioned way at college (fornication) could get you kicked out of the Y and virtually nowhere else.

I have a tough time believing that the promise of sex took you to the Promised Land.

Like I said, I think just about program in the west probably has some experience with RMs. I'm sure they don't prefer that their kids go, but if the kid is good enough, it seems most programs will allow for it.

That's why I say that marriage is too steep a price. Maybe it's just me that can't fathom cashing in all your chips forever just to get your rocks off.

That's right. Sam started first at BYU though right then transferred. His little brother served in our ward awhile back. He's a big kid. Played TE. I think he may try to walk on at BYU when he finishes up.
