Yeah, that's not a coincidence. There are enough changes you can get away with it, but yeah... it's sloppy logo work and the designer should feel ashamed for getting busted. Whether or not the conference knows that is another issue, but that is pretty dang poor.

I just watched the press conference. Uh, I thought the logo was bad, I think the same people put together the presentation.

I would officially like to thank BYU brass for walking away from that clown.

Craig hasn't been on my radar too much lately, but I remember a few years back when we were convinced that he hated BYU and was only lobbying for a job at a bigger conference. I imagine he was at the time, but with Utah and TCU's seasons in recent years, the history and reach of BYU and the "Boise might come our way soon" excitement, I believe he probably saw the MWC as an opportunity to build the next big power conference and a way to leave an even bigger legacy. That's all out the window now and he's trying to salvage something, maybe with the hope of getting an assistant commish job someday at a BCS conference.
