How does John White look? 13 yard pick up on a screen. IIRC he was going to the Cuse and went to a JC before signing w the Utes.

20 of those were on one play. He got chased, escaped a tackle, and instead of throwing it away kept scrambling.Originally posted by OrangeUte View Post48 negative yards on 4 sacks of Shreve. Are we shallow in depth on the OLine?

He's not a guy we can consistently run between the tackles (he got stood up for no gain from the two), but in open space he's quick and shifty. We'll see him catching swing and screen passes.Originally posted by OrangeUte View PostHow does John White look? 13 yard pick up on a screen. In the end, the Utes won. They also lost. Go figure.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostSo, who won? Any QB stand out? Any RB stand out? Thanks!
Wynn stood out on the side lines. Maybe "held out" is the better term.
RB: Langi looked pretty good. Powerful and smooth. No shitting around behind the line. He looked pretty decisive and gets north/south pretty quickly.
Palamo didn't do a lot. he did have one pass out in the flat in which he showed off his moves and burst. He also finished well with contact. He's raw, but could be a pretty nice weapon if he gets into the open field. John White (Juan Blanco), if not for the fumbles, was probably the 2nd best back on the day. Radley looked fine, nothing outstanding. Hard to tell much with the OL that these guys were working with. Langi had the most impressive day, overall.

If I have to explain my joke I have failed in my delivery.Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostExplain.
I was referencing the 15,000 in attendance while calling many of those in attendance as Johnny-come-lately. To drive the sterotype home I referred to them in mobile home terms. 150lb is an exaggeration, but even so, if you play him on 3rd down in obvious pass situations he can be effective. The d-line has a ton of depth, so you have the luxury of not needing him 50% of the snaps.Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostExcept for the fact that he weighs 150 lbs and has been playing against OL walkons that are playing both ways.

So, how would you suggest building a fan base? What would be an acceptable method to you?Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostIf I have to explain my joke I have failed in my delivery.
