  • The Official 2011 Red vs. White Game Thread

Sadly I am stuck in Delta working, so I will be following on the radio.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

Langi is off to a good start. 4-5 carries with about 35 yards.

You mean you have the privilege of working in Delta.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I would rather be in SLC watching the game instead of working in Delta

Crowd's awesome. I'd say 15k. Both sides are open. The west side chairbacks are filled, and the east side chairbacks are 50% full.

So far it's been the same story as camp: defense dominating, run game having a little success, QB's looking largely overmatched.

Crap, the running back just rolled up on Bot's leg. He had to be helped off the field.

Trevor Reilly just hurdled a running back in pass pro.

Langi's looked good today. He'll be important to this team in the fall.

Reilly's been everywhere this game. He could be the guy to solve Utah's pass rush woes.

48 negative yards on 4 sacks of Shreve. Are we shallow in depth on the OLine?

only 7 O-Lineman are playing. They are playing boths ways and I bet they are gassed.
