Going for an 8-mile run to get the edge off, then off to lunch in Oxford with Sooner, Marsupial, and Danimal followed by a brief testimony meeting before heading to the Grove.

Much of the chat here has focused on "SEC speed." interestingly, the discussion never gets any more specific than that, nor does it address "Ole Miss speed" as opposed to the overall speed of specific SEC all-American players that may play for other teams that are not participating in todays matchup.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View Post
Meanwhile ESPN just picked BYU to pick up a "big win" today in Oxford.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Todd McShay on SportsCenter picks the Cougars to win today.
Go Cougars!!!Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

You should have heard the good ole boy that 1320 had on the radio yesterday. I get the feeling the SEC thinks other conferences have no idea how to run.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostMuch of the chat here has focused on "SEC speed." interestingly, the discussion never gets any more specific than that, nor does it address "Ole Miss speed" as opposed to the overall speed of specific SEC all-American players that may play for other teams that are not participating in todays matchup.

I listened to that as well. There was a definite "our SEC speed so totally outclasses you" vibe to it.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostYou should have heard the good ole boy that 1320 had on the radio yesterday. Brand new version of "coming to your city." lots of Song Girl featured throughout, as well as a lot of SC shots.
I bet they regret writing TCU into the lyrics.
Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
