I watched the first part this morning when Collie was running his route. IMO, his route was very crisp coming out of the break. Most of the other receivers seemed more interested in getting upfield quickly, but Collie seemed to run the route like he was really selling a post and cut to the corner, instead of rounding the route off.
Granted, I was probably paying more attention to Collie and looking for reasons for him to be doing well, but I think Collie has the drive to succeed that will ultimately make him a successful NFL player.

He really struggled but of course none of the analysts dared say anything about it.

That's pretty funny because a few of the guys were saying that his throwing motion was long. That he had a long over the top delivery that wasn't compact and that his release wasn't as fast as thought.Originally posted by Babs View Post"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

He probably did have the best delivery, the other quarterbacks looked rough. None of them were fluid, they were asked to do a 5 step drop and then throw a 15 yard out, they all sucked.Originally posted by Babs View Post
Sanchez had the nicest delivery but it wasnt hard considering the group he was with, however he was very inaccurate and underthrew the receivers on every single deep ball.*Banned*

True. Despite the long throwing motion comments they did say he had no hitch.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHe probably did have the best delivery, the other quarterbacks looked rough. They were gushing over Pat White all day. But honestly, what team is going to put that guy under center? He was diminutive compared to the other QBs. I'd be surprised if he ever takes a snap at QB outside of a wildcat formation/play."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Last night on the local sports show, they showed a few highlights of Sanchez. The one deep ball that they showed sailed over the WRs head and was out of bounds by about 5-10 feet. Maybe he meant to do that....Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHe probably did have the best delivery, the other quarterbacks looked rough. Maybe. Pat White launched one like that too and I thought the guys commentating were going to jizz in their pants saying now he's just showing off.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostLast night on the local sports show, they showed a few highlights of Sanchez.
