  • What made you a man

There were a lot of factors and events, but I think the first really formative time in my path to maturity (such as it was and is) was the University of Utah. A time of Enlightenment, deprograming, and developing essential skills. College really can be a highlight of your life. Self discovery can be a wonderful thing.

      Prison.

Still trying to figure out why this is in the Stadium, though.

I'm hoping for some loss of virginity stories in this thread. Older women. Sorry; I was too sheltered. I was already a man.

          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I have a story like that.

I went to work for her that summer; a teenage kid far from home. She was a lonely widow woman hell-bent to make it on her own. We were a thousand miles from nowhere with wheat fields as far as I could see. We both needed something from each other, not knowing yet what that might be. She came to me one evening with a hot cup of coffee and a smile and in a dress that I was certain she hadn't worn in quite a while. There was a difference in her laughter and a softness in her eyes, and on the air there was a hunger even a boy could recognize.

She had a need to feel the thunder and chase the lightning from the sky. To watch a storm with all its wonder, raging in her lover's eyes. She had to ride the heat of passion, like a comet burning bright, rushing headlong in the wind, out where only dreams have been, burning both ends of the night.

That summer wind was all around me and nothing between us but the night. When I told her that I had never, she softly whispered "that's alright." And then I watched her hands of leather turn to velvet in a touch.

There's never been another summer when I have ever learned so much.

SU, are we talking prelapsarian or postlapsarian?

I was hoping this would be another thread about sex. Now all we need is someone to include porn and we'll be on our way to another classic CUF thread.

Perhaps I could make a nuanced reference to sex with my wife too.

That would be the cherry on top! Hold off until it hits page 2 though.

                      Those posts are rarely nuanced.
