I didn't view it as negative towards either program.

He concedes that BYU will be on TV more, which means more money, and then predicts that BYu will be in the BCS in 5 years.

He also suggests that Utah needs to recruit more out of Southern California. Is this is surprise? Norm and kyle have both indicated this already. I would say any western US school needs to recruit more out of socal. Why would Utah be expected to haul in Top 100s this year? They just arrived and might need season to get guys into the pipeline.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I report, you decide. Just thought it was interesting. He wasn't laying bouquets at the Utes' feet either.

I thought Boylen landed the best player in California this last year?

Oh right. Why are we talking about football right now?

Well, seing as this is The Official PAC12 Football Thread, and Dodd's column was about football, I thought this would be a place to discuss...football! You brought up Boylen's recruiting of basketball players.

Overall, the Pac was pretty bad last week. (Speaking of ugly wins, anyone catch the Husikies' cliffhanger against Eastern WA?) It may be a good year for the Utes to take the plunge.

So Fowles threw for 398 yards last night and AZ only managed 14 points?
