Who will win the BCS Championship Game?

I still wish USC had a chance during its recent run (02-08) to play in the BCS championship against an SEC team. USC absolutely throttled the SEC during the regular season. It beat Arkansas by something like 40 points in Fayetteville and I think Arkansas won the SEC West that year.

I suspect Kelly has spent the last month putting the single wing or wish bone or some other archaic offense in. Auburn's players, all having been born in the post option running attack era, will not know what to do and will most likely curl up in the fetal position as Oregon scores at will.

That's why I'm picking Oregon.

Historically Oregon has always been in the top three most hated teams. But I'm rooting for them now because

1. I'm over the SEC's inflated reputation - yes, they're currently the best league in the NCAA but it's been blown out of proportion by a variety of factors including lucking into Ohio State every damn year.

2. Chip Kelly has slowly won me over. Others think he's abrasive, I just respect (a) his insane offense and (b) his unflinching approach to dealing w/ both Masoli and Blount.

I'm in Oregon's corner. And it kills me.

I would love see Oregon win this game and put a stop to the S-E-C chants in the post game shows. But I don't have a lot of faith in Oregon's (or anyone's) ability to stop Cam Newton. If Oregon can get their running game going enough to open up the passing game, Oregon will have a good chance.

I'm surprised the vote is so overwhelmingly in favor of Oregon. That's not to say that Oregon can't win, just that it's far from a no-brainer. Historically the high octane offenses have disappointed in the title game, and the SEC has never lost a title game.
