Ute band/crazy dancing lady piss off notre dame fans

They were asked not to do anything during the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters due to a notre dame tradition and they decided to play anyway. I wonder when they will make a return trip?

As a Ute fan at the game, I wish the band had not come. The fans were really pissed during the 3rd quarter. The announcement was by a retired police officer that was a legend telling everyone to be safe so I really didn't understand it, but it really upset them.
On top of that, the U band was constantly playing over the ND band. The band did not act like gracious guests.

I guess Ute fans have never seen Chad Lewis' sportsmanship spot for BYU.

I'm not a big fan of our band.

Ouch. How embarrassing. Not only did the Utes get trounced, but they also looked like boorish clodhoppers in the process.

I think the ute band is terribly boorish. They always play over the BYU band when they visit LES. Not only that, a few years ago the U band stayed 30 minutes after the game to play over BYU's blanket ceremony for Senior day. Sheesh, why didnt they just stay the night and play in the parking lot during sacrament meeting the next morning.

Last year I noticed that the BYU band threw all politeness to the wind and started playing over the U band in the second half of the game. Since the BYU home game band was larger, and was miked, the U band was effectively muzzled. Didn't stop them from playing Utah Man nonstop.

That's more lame than the usual. Were they just oblivious to visiting band etiquette or were they just behaving like dicks? Weird.

Didn't someone explain to them that shatty behaviour by anyone involved with the Utah organization is pure fiction concocted by BYU fans? It's really something they should know.

According to some on the Ute board, they were asked before the game to not play during that time.

Playing 30 minutes after the game is not cool.

I know several people who have played in the Ute band. BYU micing the band and playing over the Utes has been a sore spot with them for a long time. It didn't start last year.

Who has connections with the Ute band and how much is it going to cost to drop the incredibly lame star wars music for the cool nd uppercut diddy?
