I agree with Indy, Bronco doesn't stick around long enough. I think Bronco would hit the mark first though because the competition will be consistently more difficult for the Utes. I'm also assuming an invite to a BCS conference for BYU wouldn't be forthcoming. If BYU were invited and Bronco was still the coach than it's hard to say.

Hey, only 3-4 more games until we both disassociate ourselves with this pathetic conference!!!

This really is remarkable and a strong testament to the quality of Bronco, Kyle, Holmoe and Hill. In college football there are a lot of bad coaches and it's fortunate for the state of Utah to have two of the best.

To be respected as a big dog I think that BYU has to have 7 BCS teams on their schedule. I am not sure they will. Who knows though.

Actually, we will only lose to them 3 out of 8 years, and it will pretty much be BYU's biggest game of the season, so we have to expect their "A Game".

To answer the question, I think Kyle and Bronco will both eclipse 100 wins on the exact same day. Then, the second coming will occur and the football will be replaced by temple work as the national pass time.

I know very little about this but I understand that the BCS conferences' schedules are set up so that for the most part, September is the month when they have openings to schedule OOC games. That's how the PAC12 will be, which is why Utah had to schedule BYU in September (which I still don't like). Does anyone know more about that?

SEC always has teams that schedule out of conference. The strangest game next year has to be Arizona and LA Lafayette in NOVEMBER...

SEC has a weekend in November designated as FCS week. That was last week, with games against Chattanooga (Go Mocs!), Idaho State, et al.

Isnt this how every conference is set up? September is for OOC.

Arizona has nothing on Texas Tech this year, which closes home against Weber State, followed by a roadie to Houston. The Red Raiders' Big 12 schedule is over with after this week's roadie to OU.

I think most fans and players are looking forward more to playing Texas and Notre Dame than Utah.

My point was, why is the PAC allowing a November OOC game for Arizona, but not for Utah/BYU?

                          Nope.

PAC-12 is stronger than the Big-12 right now, you will be more excited for the PAC-12 competition, trust me on this one.

That doesn't diminish anything, It just means I think he'll rack up some wins over the next few seasons.
I don't see this happening, actually. Not to compare BYU to Notre Dame, but the Domers are one of 2 or 3 schools to have never played a FCS opponent.

Plenty of MAC, WAC, and Sun Belt schools, but never FCS.

Of course they would. Both those teams are under .500 this year. Those are teams BYU can beat. BYU is a bodybag game for Utah.
