Early on I think it is clear Pete Thomas is not the best Freshman QB in the MWC. He isn't even the best Freshman QB in the game.

I've been switchin on commercials and the U is not looking good. There seems to be a loss of confidence in the entire team from the loss last week.

That's part of it but there is no doubt that BYU has improved immensely since USU ( the historical gold standard cupcake.)
