Last year when he came to Utah I hated him with the passion of 10,000 white hot suns. This year, I love him almost as passionately.

And with that, we see what Corso and the Pick 'Em segment is all about: Playing to the crowd.

Playing to the crow or antagonizing the crowd?

I love Lee Corso. I think the show will suffer a lot whenever he is forced to retire, and I hope that is never. He has some slip ups that come with age and from his stroke, IMO that just makes him even more lovable.

For someone of my generation Lee Corso is as much college football as anyone. I'll be sad when he puts on his last mascot head.

Should we really be surprised that a 75 year old man prefers Provo to Salt Lake City? It probably just reminds him of his young days in the 40's and 50's.

                Or the 60's in Birmingham.

Corso is awesome. CGD's crew have great chemistry, they're smart, and it's a great 2 (or 3) hours of TV. There is showmanship and pandering, but their coverage in 2 hours is superb for the number of teams and games going on.
