  • SUU to join the Big Sky

While not as big as Utah-TCU, Utah to Pac-12, BYU Independence, this is a big deal for a small school to get into a conference where you can grow a local rival(NAU and Weber) and decrease travel expenses. It is a good day in Cedar City.

This is great for SUU. I'm excited for them. They currently play in one conference for football and one for the rest of the sports. Neither leagues are a good fit. The Big Sky is perfect. Good for them.

Wonder if UVU could eventually find their way into the Big Sky for all sports but football....

This is a precursor to Montana going FBS and joining the WAC.

Not the best trade for the Big Sky, but very likely the case.

Really? Wasn't there some talk that Montana would lose a ton of money going to the WAC?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The truth is probably the other way around, actually. They're starting to really struggle financially in FCS.

Campus is going crazy today. It'll be a good challenge for BYU-South the men's football and basketball teams.
