    LOL.

One of these things is not like the other. USC, Florida, BYU and Texas. I will let you figure out which one it is.

USC? Because they are on probation and have been sanctioned by the NCAA?

They are helped by going to camps hosted by these prestigious schools.

It's a chicken/egg discussion, where you wonder if elite schools create elite prospects, or elite prospects attract elite schools.

LOL. Technically, that is a correct answer. Not the one that I was looking for but I can't tell you that you got it wrong.

BYU is definitely unique in that they are the only mid major to win a national championship.

Also, byu only has 1 heisman trophy, while the other schools have multiple heismans.

Doesn't TCU have one from way back in the day?

Not sure on Army. I wouldn't be surprised it they did from way way way back in the day. I believe the do have a Heisman though.

TCU has two. The Ivy League schools have tons.

                      Centre and Chicago have them.

                      Navy has 1.

                      Lafayette College has 3.

When TCU and Army (Houston as well for that matter) won a national title/Heisman they were not mid majors. TCU and Houston were in the old Southwest Conference. And Army was on par with Notre Dame back in the day.

It doesn't look like a mid major will get a Heisman again anytime soon. All the hype that Kellen Moore was getting is all for not at this point. Its either going to be Newton or James who wins it. And if Auburn goes undefeated it won't be a contest.

Yeah, it's beginning to look like Newton's going to run away with it.
