The run stuffing are on weird run calls though. Running out of shotgun will not work against this defense. It's insane that BYU has not learned that yet. I'm baffled.

I like the idea behind the playcalling, as just having Heaps stand in and throw downfield doesn't work at all and is much riskier. Still, the execution is terrible and I'd like to see more I-formation, play action, and rollouts. Misdirection isn't misdirection if all you do is misdirection.

Delayed runs are good when there is a threat of pass. Today, there isn't. Delayed runs won't work.

Please expound on the idea behind the playcalling? On the last drive it must have been to go down at half by more than they were.
