I'm going to Australian Pink Floyd Saturday. I can't let this game harsh my mellow, so I'm just going to lightly pay attention with bemused passing interest.

I sat through the entire Utah-TCU game last year, although I paid more attention to the first 3 quarters compared to the last quarter.

In 2007, I saw the AFA and BYU losses in person, watched the Oregon St game all the way through on TV, and was unable to view the UNLV game. IIRC I stopped following it near the end of the 3rd quarter.

'05 and '06, I was employed by the team, so I sat through every loss that season, too.

Ultimately, I don't blame anyone for leaving a game early or for turning off a game early.

In bad seasons, my obsession with BYU footballs ebbs a bit - it drops a notch or two on my priority list, but I still watch most, if not all, of the games. I stop worrying so much about whether or not they will win and just enjoy the game of football - watching particular players/positions and so forth.
