I also never said he didn't care about winning. But maybe he should care a little more about winning. A move like this I think shows that maybe he is a little more concerned about winning than some were giving him credit for, as recently as last night.
I didn't mean to pick on you. You're not the only person to say this. I just think it's ridiculous to say that any college coach doesn't care about winning. Indeed, i'm guessing most coaches are obsessed with it. And the type of coach that can beat 90% of his players up to the Y strikes me even less as one who takes losing lightly. One of the things i like about bronco, and that i think filters down to players, is that he walks the talk and doesn't make excuses.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Again, I think half of the "Football 5th Priority" is sarcasm. But they say there is usually at least a portion of truth in sarcasm. He definitely deserves more slack, and a lot of ire last night was more frustration than anything. I'm sure few people were more upset about last than Bronco.

Posts made during and shortly after a debacle like last night's game should be considered in the same light as posting drunk. Notwithstanding that some of landpoke's best work comes that way, we shoud probably just ignore most of them.

It seems like its signature was big and legible last night.

I have been blessed this year. Various other things have prevented me from watching too much, I did go to the Reno game. It was bad.

I think Army is going to win enough to make a bowl game, so I can swing my emotional support elsewhere - Temple loss was the hardest game I took this year. I had resigned myself to give up on BYU. Then BYU fires Jaimie and while I don't expect any drastic changes I can't help the fact that it piqued my interest to see if there is any change. I just think that SDSU with a week off to prepare is going to crush BYU at homecoming...yuck.
