He toldMcGraw that he had been repeatedly molested by a family friend starting when the 22-year-old Tuiasosopo was 12.

Tuiasosopo did not identify his alleged molester in the interview and did not specify if he had gone to the authorities.

With things as sensitive as molestation, I don't feel it is appropriate to judge while being so far on the outside of the situation.

It may be a lie, but it may not be. I'm going to err on the side of compassion at this point.

I found his confession an attempt to garner sympathy and nothing more. He throws that out there but does not provide any more details. That is a serious thing and one that should not be taken lightly. Why make that statement now? Why make it in such a public way? This is a very private, serious, emotionally difficult topic to discuss, and he opens up like that to millions??

My question to those who may know.

Is there any ability to still prosecute the person who may molested him?


His actions after this recent confession will determine if it is true. He can reveal it, chose to move on, ignore the onslaught of questions that will now come. I think his actions deserve a critical eye even in the most sensitive topics. Specially with something so serious like this where he may be using it as a tool.. How offensive if so...
