Then you beat an even shittier UNLV team, and you are talking like Utah has done something this year.
LOL. What has BYU done this year then?

Don't get me wrong; you still make me laugh. Your transformation has been very entertaining since what happened in June.

This is the old junkie! Well done, friend.

          Not a damn thing.

Here is what we know for sure 2 weeks in to the season:

Pitt has a long ways to go in order to be a top 15 team.
Utah is 2-0 so you can not knock them for that but they will probably only get tested once maybe twice the whole season so like in 2004 who knows how good they will really be.
Riley Nelson has a noodle arm (we knew this before the season), and BYU can not stop the option.
Washington is not a good football right now and I doubt they make a bowl game.

Other than that we do not know much about BYU or Utah.

All I said is that Kyle has managed his QB situation well. I admit that it was a crack on Bronco, but now that I have read that he isn't the guy in that program making that call I suppose it sort of loses its pep.

Things aren't so bad for BYU. You will have a legitimate shot to get back to .500 against Nevada, though I think you have seen the last of the top 25 for this year. You could be back there next year unless Heaps decides after this year that he doesn't want to play in the WAC in 2011 which I think is a very real possibility.

I think the reality is that BYU with its move to independence and its inability to get itself included in the BCS conversation by accomplishing anything of note in the last 26 years has begun its inevitable slide into obscurity. But perhaps this is what the Brethren intend.

You and Ilpad have said both taken shots at this Independence and Pac-10 thing, I honestly do not care, I like independence for BYU as our schedule will be solid. Yes the first two years we have to play some WAC schools but we also get Notre Dame, Texas, Oregon State, and in 2012 Boise State.

We also get recruits that say stuff like this:

"When we were talking he told me he narrowed it down – I mean, he had offers from Oregon, Oregon State and big schools that people don't know about – to BYU and Utah,” said Logan. “He was saying that Utah was in a better conference than BYU and I couldn't really argue with that on a perception basis. Before he was talking about the strength of schedules and the Pac-10 and the opportunities ahead of him. Even though BYU is getting national recognition, the Mountain West can't compete with the Pac-10. I'm not talking about on the field. I'm talking about perception-wise, and I couldn't really argue with that."
                  [quote]
"He was going to come out here for a visit and had that all planned," Logan said. "Then BYU goes independent a couple of days before he was going to come out here for a visit, and man, that changed everything. He just said, ‘Man, with that schedule coming up and being on ESPN against those schools, I can't turn this down.' I think that right there kind of let BYU know and this coaching staff know how by going independent with that schedule is going to really help with recruiting.

"Joe was like, 'Man, even with the Pac-10, nothing is going to compare to the schedule we're going to have. He was really excited about playing Texas next year and the long series BYU has with Notre Dame. It was funny because he had a couple big offers and he narrowed his schools down to Utah and BYU, which is ironic for me being that Utah is my rival school."
Going independent would have to be that tipping point," Logan said. "Just off of the schedule he was like, ‘Man, we grew up watching Texas, we grew up watching Notre Dame, and for me to be playing at LaVell Edwards Stadium against Notre Dame … and Texas on ABC or ESPN, that's big-time.’ He said this was a dream come true and I think that's what really set BYU apart from Utah and why he committed to us. He just felt like he couldn't pass this up."
So now head to head we are 2 for 2. One of the commits was 100% due to us going Independent.

                    Well done Topute, well done.

Weird that ESPN feels differently, good thing you are not a TV executive chances are you would be out of a job. Remind me if I ever need an attorney in Virginia not to call you.

Didn't today's win officially give the Utes the record for conference home wins? Not a bad record to take to the PAC.

That is why I said Independent and the Pac-10 affiliation. I am assuming that was what your reference to June was.

That's awfully personal. I think since I went to BYU I get to have an opinion about it though.

You are right that was not appropriate, I guess I am just assuming since you would be such a horrible TV executive you must suck at many other facets of life.

But you can be great at one job and suck at another.

I do suck at a lot of facets of life, in fact. I'm a pretty good lawyer though so I won't turn you down in your hour of need.
