  • Brian Logan and his mom

I have been a fan of BL since he first stepped on the field, but I also like his mom She seems like she has done a great job as a single mom*

    * Unlike Gloria James who I knew was batsh crazy long before she invited Lebron's friend Delonte over to play.

He is an example of a kid getting 110% out of his abilities. Logan was pretty damn good against Washington I expect he will only get better. Great tackler on the edge, solid cover guy, and unlike Brandon Howard he continues to make play after play.

Good article and a great guy. He really turned the corner about midway through last season. I was a little down on him until then (but Bronco I promised I didn't boo him). He was great against Oregon State in the bowl game. I still worry about his height but he definitely makes up for it.

Logan has quickly worked his way into being one of my all time favorite Cougars. I want my kids to look at him and realize that you can do whatever you want if you work hard enough for it.

He wouldn't be at BYU if he was.

He wouldn't be at BYU, he would be at Texas or USC getting paid. However, if he was to suddenly have a growth spurt, he would be drafted this spring. Unfortunately, it will likely be arena FB or falling back on whatever he is getting his degree in.

EDIT: I was a hack of a guy who tasted the fruit, but listened to those in the great and spacious building and has now returned to mists of darkness.

I don't want to teach my kids such nonsense. But I do really like Brian Logan.

I love these kind of stories. The kid will be successful. The kid will share stories that folks at BYU and mormons in general aren't wacko's.

Kudo's to the non-members, especially minorities that show up at BYU and make it. Also kudo's to BYU and the people there and in Utah County. Obviously enough normal people are there to make the guys experience a good one.

But what would he do with the rabbit in the hat?

I like the way Logan competes, and he's an excellent tackler at the corner, but it was FSU last year when he got burned repeatedly - mostly because they knew he had no chance at 5'6" of covering their receivers.

I ripped him mercilessly most of last year, but towards the end of the season and then against UW he has been solid. It will be interesting to see what he can do against FSU.
