  • Ute fans have spoken. Judging by the comments, they have made it abundantly clear they honestly want nothing to do with BYU any more.

It's not fair to loyal Ute fans who want to see our program extend beyond it's boundaries and play some exciting teams from around the country.

Amazing they have time to enter into these contracts when they are so busy moving on.

            • How is this being received on Utefans.net? Any threatened lawsuits on behalf of endangered Utah players yet?

It's rumored they've created a website with all the dirty plays by BYU players and sent a link to Dr. Hill, begging him to back out of the contract for the Ute players' safety. Dr. Hill is giving the plea serious consideration.

He knows that the school has been put on "notice" about the risks and therefore is assuming some potential liability in the probable event of injury.

If a Ute player suffers a serious injury from a BYU dirty play, the punitive damages award against Dr. Hill would be HUGE for his foreknowledge of the risk and conscious disregard of Ute player safety.

                    • At least Ute fans are openly acknowledging that BYU will kick their asses now.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

                          • Big Ten ok's BYU and other independents as meeting their Power 5 scheduling requirement.

                            http://espn.go.com/college-football/...nference-quota

Games against FBS independents BYU, Army and Notre Dame will now count toward the Big Ten's requirement of playing one nonconference Power 5 team per season, a source told ESPN on Tuesday.

Beginning in 2016, the Big Ten -- like the SEC and ACC -- will require its league members to play at least one nonconference Power 5 team.

It must be time for angry Utes to send the "BYU is dirty letter" to the B1G commissioner to get recognition of BYU's status as a P5 team rescinded.
