So apparently BYU announced the 2013 schedule today. It rates a huge "M'eh" from me. Sad that our season will be over after week 2.

Dude, I generally don't have any problem with you but this comment is just frigtarded. Why will our season be over after week two? One loss and that's the season for you? You're not interested in games with Wisconsin, ND, Ga. Tech, Utah, etc? This is a great schedule - lots of good teams. How does it only rate as a 'meh' for you? What kind of schedule would rate a 'sweet' for you?

I just don't get what I'm assuming is your attitude of "if we don't go undefeated and play for a MNC then the season is meaningless".

When BYU was in a conference, did playing late season games against UNLV, New Mexico, and Wyo for the "conference championship" really provide that much value to you after BYU suffered the inevitable early season loss?

Nice schedule Cougs! That's meaty and challenging with quite a few games against very good competition. These are really all games that people will tune in for. Even Idaho State since it won't be back to back with a crappy team. This is a fun schedule week in and week out. I watch a lot of byu games with Steelblue and BlueGoose. This will make for a fun season of game watching. I just hope the Utes and Cougs don't get games scheduled at the same time often since I will then miss some of these games.

OK, so using that logic, I'm guessing you want BYU to schedule the bottom third of the WAC, MWC and Sun Belt instead? We can go 12-0 against them and then we don't have to worry about conference championships as consolation prizes.

He wants us to replace these games against Texas, ND, and Wisconson with MWC teams so that we can play for the prestigious Mienke Car Care Las Vegas Bowl.
