The rumors that I've heard is just that he (and all of his family) are ultra competitive. Things like "My son lost to his nephew's team and they drove up the score and rubbed it in our faces." Um, ok.

Also, student employees who have supposedly dealt with him are saying that he has a bad temper and a big ego, that he is difficult to work with and is harsh in his communication. But, he's really great with NIL and donors.

It has worked out great for Utah with Harlan. I think you should throw a boatload of money at Harlan for him to back up Santiago.
