My fellow BYU fans, do I really

deserve the hate for liking Utah. Thinking Whitt is a great guy. For getting along well with my friends who are Utes.

I root for BYU vs Utah. However, does my positive feelings about Utah make me a less fan.

I really got hurt and attacked for stating such on CB. I again was surprised with the narrow minds that exist over there. Someone called me purple. Now that is an attack. However, I just politely referred to that as evidence of a dumb fan.

Of course my post got deleted and the first rock throwers didn't.

I am not whining here, I just want to explain why I am posting here, because I can't there, that Huskerfan2 is a jackass of a moderator.

I have enough good friends that are Utes that I don't hate them like I used to. Certainly things change the week of the rivalry game, but overall my interactions with most Ute fans are pretty good-natured.

Having not lived in Utah for years, the UofU is practically a non-entity in my life except for rivalry week. There is one UofU fan in my ward and he is about as cool of a person as you can find so in most cases I find myself cheering for Utah rather than against them, although I'll admit that I rarely watch a Utah game.

This is not a trolling question. When someone suggest over there everyone should hate Utah or root against them and I have a differing opinion. Should I just not express it because it will upset the extremists.



On the other hand, I will admit I don't mind when it sets them off. Perhaps that is trolling.
