Vegas does its homework, but I'm skeptical of any rankings where the loser of a head-to-head matchup is ranked ahead of the winner. Iowa-Arizona, Wisconsin-Michigan State and Texas A&M-Oklahoma State are just the obvious ones to me. Might be more.Comment

Four dissimilar resumes amongst those teams, ie, too many losses, especially among Washington, BYU and USU. Head-to-head obviously isn't the be-all and end-all, but it should count for a lot more earlier in the season, especially when it's the only loss between the two teams.Originally posted by jay santos View Post
If BYU were 5-0 and had beaten Iowa, yet still "ranked" below Iowa in a power poll, the same questions would be raised here. But Ole Miss being on here is the most grievous error, IMO. They're 63rd in Sagarin for crying out loud.Comment
