This is a huge game for the Cougars. When did we have this much on the line? 2020 Coastal Carolina? Washington in 1996? Michigan in 1984?

Not sure.

But ASU is peaking. Cam Skattebo doesn't go down without a fight. In their losses/close games, defenses held him to 2.6, 3.3, 4.4 ypc. K-state held him to 2.9 ypc, but the Devils still won. He can catch the ball out of the backfield as well (he's their second-leading receiver by receptions).

Leavitt is putting up solid numbers. He averages 211 ypg, but he's capable of more. TD/Int is 17/4.

Jordan Tyson is a menace as a WR.

He doesn't get a lot of love, but their TE Chamon Metayor, is a freaking load of a human being.

Their defense is pedestrian.

I think the Cougs are hungry to prove that last week was an anomaly: BYU: 34 ASU: 24.

A BYU win over ASU and a Utah win over Iowa State this Saturday would clinch a spot for BYU in the Big 12 Championship Game. I think it would only be fitting that Utah finally snaps their painful losing streak by beating a decent team but by so doing they punch BYU's ticket to the championship game. So let's both go out and get a win this Saturday!

The modern analytics stuff about almost always going for it on 4th down is a bunch of crap. Inside the 40 I understand it, but at midfield 4th and 5, play for field position. Don't get the first down right there is almost like handing the other team points
