I was looking back over this 1992 SI article about how hated BYU is. I particularly enjoyed this line:

"Outsiders charge that as long as BYU remains in the WAC, its schedule—with pushovers UTEP, New Mexico, Utah State and Utah—can never be taken seriously."

in the 18 years since that article appeared in SI, the Utes have certainly gone from a mention only as BYU's rival, to being invited to the Pac-10, winning 2 BCS bowl games, two top 5 finishes. Gladly, I don't think anyone will ever write an article about Utah like this one.
